I feel it in my fingers, I feel it in my toes, Love is inside us, we just have to let it show!
Saint Valentine’s day is famous for being a day for lovers and for single people to curse their fate due to not having a partner. However, here at Eclectic Heart we believe that this day is just another day to celebrate love, whether it be self-love or love for someone else.
With that in mind, we compiled a list of six suggestions to watch alone or with your other half.
1. A Movie.

The Lake House. A 2006 movie with Sandra Bullock and Keanu Reeves, that tells the story of Kate and Alex and a space-time mystery. In 2006, Kate Forster is moving out of her lake house and, for that reason, she leaves a note in the mailbox so that the person moving in can forward her mail to her. In 2004, Alex Wyler is moving into the lake house, where he finds Kate’s letter in the mailbox. Confused, he writes her back, and just like that they start exchanging messages with each other, which will evolve to something greater. The Lake House is a remake of the south korean movie Siworae, from 2000.
2. A Tv Show.

Outlander. Based on Diana Gabaldon’s books, the 2014 tv show follows the story of Claire and Randall and their time travel to 1743. In a mysterious way, Claire is transported to the time when the jacobites were preparing for a rebellion, and there is where she meets a young scotish man named Jamie Fraser, that will help her in her journey. Outlander is already in its 5th season and a 6th one is predicted to take place. If you haven’t watched this story, give it a shot and let yourself be immersed in old Scotland.

In this book, the author Charlotte Brontë approaches the woman emancipation through her protagonist, Jane Eyre, a young orphan with a tempestuous temper, that sees her nature “castrated” by the society of her time. Throughout the narrative, Jane grows into a more calm and introspective woman, but it is when she goes to work in Thornfield Hall, that her ethics and morals are shaken to the core. Jane Eyre is a XIX century wonderful romance, that makes us realize that the most important thing above all is self-love and self-knowledge.
4. A Manga.
